We are creating a community resource where members can affordably borrow tools, attend educational workshops, socialize, and participate in building projects. SOMA Tool Share will promote a sharing economy by emphasizing collective access, sustainable use and inclusivity.

How You Can Help

We're raising money to get our project off the ground, covering the following:

• Tool Inventory: SOMA residents have already donated hundreds of tools, but at times we will need to purchase in-demand items as well.
• Rent/Utilities/Insurance:Minimizing overhead is central to our strategy–yet these items will the largest portion of our budget each year
