The spirit of SOMA is sharing and generous. In that spirit, SOMA Tool Share is a new tool library and sharing platform for residents in and around South Orange and Maplewood, NJ, now in the planning stages.
The library will hold tools that often make more sense for members to borrow than to own. These may be expensive (table saw), large (ladder), or only needed on occasion (tile cutter). They may be for home, auto or yard maintenance.
Sharing tools promotes empowerment, community, and sustainability. If you are interested in joining, donating, or volunteering, please sign up below. We’d love to meet you!
Note: We are in search of space to lease: 800-1,200 sq. ft., ground floor, with some parking included or nearby. If you know of any such space, please leave a note below.
